Administrative Assistant

Position purpose:                    

To support the fencing sales team by assisting it to identify and develop new business opportunities while helping to maintain excellent business relationships among our existing accounts.

Qualifications:                    

We’re looking for a motivated, engaged and self-directed candidate who enjoys working within a team environment where their skills and talents will provide a positive contribution to the growth of our sales team.  

  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize daily work-flow
  • Professionally interact with customers and team members alike
  • Proficient understanding of working with statements such as invoices, quotations and reports
  • Comfortable helping to coordinate marketing activities
  • Quick-to-learn attitude
  • Ability to express themselves both verbally and in written form
  • Possesses a high degree of integrity and honesty in all aspects of their life

Required skills:

  • Solid knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Capability to conduct both directed and independent research on topics related to fencing sales

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior work experience related to the above qualifications
  • Experience in the lumber industry
  • Secondary education or degrees beyond a high school diploma
